Refund policy

Article 1: Scope

This policy applies to all purchases made on Calvara.design.co.uk by any consumer within the meaning of French consumer law.

Any order placed on Calvara.design.co.uk constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of this policy.

Calvara.design.co.uk delivers exclusively to the United Kingdom.


Article 2: Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, with no obligation to provide a reason and no penalty.

The statutory minimum period is 14 days. Calvara.design.co.uk extends this to 30 days as a commercial gesture.

2.1: Start of the withdrawal period

The period begins on the day you take physical possession of the goods ordered. For an order of multiple items delivered separately, the period begins upon receipt of the last item.

2.2: Exercising your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us by email at support.calvaradesign@gmail.com before the 30-day period expires, providing the following details:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • The reference of the item(s) concerned
  • The reason for your request (optional)

We will acknowledge receipt of your request and provide you with the procedure to follow as soon as possible. No return should be made without our prior written agreement.

2.3: Effects of withdrawal

Upon valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, Calvara.design.co.uk undertakes to refund the full amount paid within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of your notification, using the same payment method used for your order.

We reserve the right to defer this refund until we have received the returned item or until you have provided proof of dispatch, whichever occurs first.


Article 3: Return Conditions

3.1: Condition of the item

To be accepted, any returned item must be unused and unworn, in its original condition with no damage or alteration, and returned in its original packaging with all accessories, instructions, and labels.

Any item returned incomplete, damaged, or used may be subject to a partial refund based on its condition upon receipt.

3.2: Returns procedure

All return requests must be submitted in advance by email to support.calvaradesign@gmail.com before sending anything back. We will provide you with the procedure to follow and the appropriate return address by email.

No parcel returned without our prior written agreement will be accepted. Any parcel sent directly to the supplier without contacting us first will result in the permanent cancellation of your refund request.

3.3: Commercial option

In the event of a product not meeting your expectations, we may, depending on the situation, offer a partial refund without requiring the product to be returned. Please contact us at support.calvaradesign@gmail.com for any such request.

3.4: Proof of purchase

All return requests must be accompanied by your order confirmation or invoice received by email at the time of purchase.


Article 4: Return Postage

Return postage costs are the sole responsibility of the customer, except where the item returned is faulty or not as described.

We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service for all returns. Calvara.design.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any parcel lost or damaged in transit. We do not accept cash on delivery returns.


Article 5: Refunds

5.1: Processing your request

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned parcel, we will notify you of our decision by email within 48 working hours.

5.2: Full refund

If the item meets the conditions set out in Article 3, you will receive a full refund of your order amount, excluding return postage costs, within a maximum of 14 days from validation of your return, via the payment method used for your order.

5.3: Partial refund

A partial refund may be issued in the following circumstances: item returned showing signs of use, item returned damaged or incomplete for reasons not attributable to Calvara.design.co.uk. We will notify you by email, stating the amount refunded and the reasons for this decision.

5.4: Late refund

If you have not received your refund within the stated timeframe, please check your bank account and then contact your bank. If the issue persists, please contact us at support.calvaradesign@gmail.com with your order number.


Article 6: Faulty or Incorrect Items

6.1: Statutory guarantee of conformity

In accordance with Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, all items sold on Calvara.design.co.uk are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity for 24 months from delivery. In the event of a lack of conformity, you may request repair, replacement, a price reduction, or cancellation of the contract.

6.2: Guarantee against hidden defects

In accordance with Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, all items sold on Calvara.design.co.uk are covered by the guarantee against hidden defects. In the event of a hidden defect, you may choose between cancellation of the sale or a reduction in price.

6.3: Procedure for faulty items

If you notice a fault or non-conformity, please contact us immediately at support.calvaradesign@gmail.com, including:

  • Your order number
  • A precise description of the fault
  • Clear photos or videos of the item concerned

After reviewing your case, we will offer either an identical replacement or a full refund. Return postage costs are covered for any faulty or incorrect item.


Article 7: Exchanges

Calvara.design.co.uk does not offer exchanges. In the event of a faulty or incorrect item, a full refund or identical replacement will be offered. For personal preference (colour, model), please exercise your right of withdrawal as set out in Article 2, then place a new order.


Article 8: Order Cancellation

You have 24 hours from the time your order is confirmed to request cancellation by emailing support.calvaradesign@gmail.com with your order number.

After this period, your order may already be in preparation with our logistics partners and can no longer be cancelled. In this case, please wait to receive your order and exercise your right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 2.


Article 9: Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the following items:

  • Opened items that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons
  • Items that have been clearly personalised
  • Items returned after the 30 calendar day period following the date of receipt
